so my stint at lee & lee has ended and the last day left me feeling quite sad. we did next to nothing the entire day — i ran out to buy my lawyer a fudge cake despite her lactose intolerance because she mentioned it before at lunch and i thought it’d be cute. in hindsight, i hope her stomach held up. i then proceeded to dole out reese’s peanut butter bars to everyone else. they were rejected by two lawyers, much to my vexation ‘ohhh….. that’s so sweet but i’m not a fan of peanut butter’ NOT ‘A FAN’ OF PB?? they may as well have said ‘i don’t believe in air’ or ‘i like wiping my ass with a bible’ i found that to be most sacrilegious

anyway i really enjoyed myself at lee & lee and i secretly think it was fun because of the other interns. we did our work but when we were done we stole away downstairs to buy barcook buns (the raisin cream bun? currant-y, creamy, doughy sex), spent our nonexistent paychecks on overpriced cups of boost juice and queued up for the 4pm batch of lao ban tau huay slurping it down until we felt sick. but most of all, we ~got~ each other and made jokes at each other’s expenses and were there for each other when people were being mean to us and that’s what ~counts~ oh man feel like i miss them already leh

anyway i just completed my first week at nylon and frankly it’s exceeding my expectations so far. i was preparing myself for it to be rly bitchy and cutthroat but it’s just full of regular people. i mean, they’re just normal human people. they’re fabulous and they dress rly well but for the most part everyone is just so nice and NORMAL. i was very thrown off and extremely baffled

keeping myself busy doing things that i love and surrounding myself with people i love. i think my life’s pretty sweet right now and no horoscope is allowed to tell me otherwise. 5 more months till the uk bitchezzz so stoked
